Laser cutting is a precision technique that we use to cut metals and non-metals individually. A laser beam enables the machine to easily separate the desired shape from the material. After the laser has cut out all the required contours of an order, the parts go directly to shipping or to the next processing step. Further work steps can include deburring or directly bending. But threading and/or sinking can also follow next — depending on the product.
High cutting speeds even with thick materials
A great many materials can be cut with the laser
Little or no burr formation
Complex shapes and contours can be easily realized
Follow our design guidelines
For us, the bending of sheets, also known as “bending”, is an obligatory processing step in sheet metal processing. After the sheets have been cut to size during laser cutting, the sheets can either be deburred or they are bent directly. At Metallschmiede.com, we bend the parts using countersinking presses, but we can also offer round bending. Do you have large quantities? No problem, our bending robots have no problem with that.
Many design options
Bends give sheet metal parts stability
Reproducible results thanks to angle measurement systems on the machines
Bends in the right places can save costs by saving on welded parts, for example. Do you need advice on this? Feel free to take contact with us on.
The “deburring” of sheets, also known as edge breaking, can be a useful additional step after laser cutting. Laser cutting can result in a certain amount of burr formation on the underside (laser beam output side). Even with optimal machine settings, a certain amount of burr formation cannot be avoided. Deburring is for sheet metal parts made of steel, inox and aluminum possible. At Metallschmiede.com, you can choose whether the sheet metal parts should only be deburred on one side (standard below) or on both sides.
No sharp-edged contours on the sheet metal parts
Internal contours are also deburred
Better feel of sheet metal parts
Lower risk of injury due to cutting on laser burrs
Deburred edges can save costs in your own workshop, as there is no need to sand the edges, for example
A deburred edge can have an advantage in subsequent processes such as coating
In our Metallschmiede.com, we also have tube laser systems. With these machines, we can not only laser cut pipes quickly and efficiently, we can also process other rod materials. With tube laser machines, we can cut very complex and complex contours from the raw material. Here too, when it comes to raw material, we have the option to choose between steel, inox and aluminum. Do you need not only straight pipes, but also curved pipes? Feel free to take contact with us on.
Much faster and more accurate than drilling, milling and sawing
Many design options
Large quantities possible in a short period of time
Complex shapes and contours can be easily realized
Accurate processing options with a wide range of applications
At Metallschmiede.com, we can introduce both threads and sinks into sheet metal parts and pipes. Depending on the component shape, we can insert the threads before or after bending the sheet metal parts. For thread cutting, we offer standard M3, M4, M5, M6 and M8 threads. When lowering, we make 90-degree reductions with a countersink, but there are various variants here: lowering as preparation for thread cutting, sinking for screw heads (countersunk screws) and deburring holes. In order for us to be able to identify where threads and/or sinks must be introduced into the components, appropriate drawings must also be uploaded. We offer threading and sinking for products from steel, inox and aluminum on. Do you need other thread types or sinking types? Feel free to take contact with us on.
Components can be ordered completely ready for further processing
No need for complex thread cutting or sinking in-house
Different types of threads possible
Different forms of cone sinks are possible
The production of components is a crucial part of metal processing. Particularly in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, and many other industries, complex products are often required, which are composed of various individual parts. Metallschmiede.com offers an efficient way to produce such assemblies and metal components.
After the upload, Metallschmiede.com dismantles the assembly into the individual components. The user-friendly platform simplifies the entire process from calculation to ordering. In just a few steps, you can configure your module (material type, number of individual parts,...) and immediately receive a clear price overview. This saves time and enables quick order processing.
Another advantage of module manufacturing at Metallschmiede.com is the minimization of interfaces and the avoidance of the time-consuming search for different manufacturers for the various individual parts of the assembly. You no longer have to coordinate multiple suppliers for the individual parts of an assembly, but get a complete solution from a single source.
The entire production process is becoming more efficient
Coordination is simplified
In the best case, you will receive all necessary components (made of sheet metal and pipe) from Metallschmiede.com
No need to convert the module - you can directly convert your module from the CAD system* to Metallschmiede.com (*Step, SolidWorks, Solidedge, Inventor, DXF, DWG, GEO)
Punching laser processing is a modern manufacturing technology that combines the advantages of punching and laser techniques to perform precise and complex forming of sheet metal parts. This process is particularly suitable for applications such as thread pulls or gills. Fine, high-precision cuts or shapes can then be made using the laser. This technology makes it possible to carry out various processing steps in a single operation, which saves both time and money. It also guarantees a high level of flexibility and adaptability to a wide range of material thicknesses and types.
Our online portal is currently unable to recognize punching/laser parts.
Until we are ready, you are welcome to directly contact us.
High precision when manufacturing complex geometries
Reduced production time by combining punching and laser techniques
High flexibility in material selection and thickness
Cost-effective for medium to large series
Minimize post-processing costs and waste

We generally process steel, stainless steel and aluminum sheets. Should you need other materials - no problem, get in touch with us here.
We can laser cut large format (3000mm x 1500mm) but also jumbo format (4000mmx2000mm)
Yes, the introduction of heat from the laser beam can cause so-called “tarnish colors” in steel and stainless steel.
We can bend steel, stainless steel and aluminum parts.
Our bending machines can bend up to 4 meters - but the maximum bending length also depends on the material thickness and type of material.
The tolerances during bending depend on many individual factors. In the end, the shape of the component is also decisive. Please note our construction guidelines.
Due to machine technologies, the components must be at least 50 mm wide and 200 mm long and must not have too many cut-outs.
Basically, you can say: The thicker the sheet, the better a thread holds. Threads have different pitches depending on their size and a rule of thumb states that there should be at least three threads in the material so that the thread holds.
If you would like to order threads, please specify thread size and position in the technical drawing.
